Hello and welcome to the fifth grade!  I am so excited to start this new year.  There are so many fun things we will learn in fifth grade.  I aim to have my students have as much of a hands on experience as I can and we will be doing a lot of creating which is the highest level of thinking.

As a teacher, I really plan around each child to make sure that they have a personalized experience at school and that they are learning in a way that best suits their mindset.  We also have flex seating in the classroom so the kids can sit where they want in a place that best meets their learning needs.

Just a little bit about me personally.  I have a husband and two daughters.  My kids are 17 and 8.  Kylie will be going into her senior year at Eaglecrest in the Cherry Creek District and will be playing varsity soccer there.  My younger daughter, Ireland, attends Prairie Crossing and will be in third grade this year.  Our family is completed by a Boston Terrier, Roxie, and a Boxer, Peyton.  (Of course my husband named her after Peyton Manning).  I am a huge Packers fan, but I also like to read, ski, get fit at 9Round Boxing, and spend as much time as I can with my family.
